Tonight we’re kicking off Relevant Tones’s 10th Annual Festival with a Campari & Soda!

Cartoonist Rube Goldberg’s intricately complex contraptions have inspired everyone from the classic Mousetrap game to Pee-wee Herman, and the Rube Goldberg machine has become a household name. This concert features music inspired by and incorporating Rube Goldberg machines and conversation with Jennifer George, Goldberg’s granddaughter, the author of numerous books about Goldberg and the director of the Rube Goldberg Institute.

And, yes: With the assistance of Technical Director David Wetzel, ACM Founder Seth Boustead will be performing John Cage’s Water Walk, otherwise known as bartending taken to its inevitable apotheosis. If you’re in NY, you can buy tickets here. Otherwise, tune in from home tonight at 7C/8E via Facebook.

This is the start of a three-night celebration! Find out more here.
