Thirsty Ear Festival

Palomar is proud to be part of the first annual Thirsty Ear Festival at Chicago’s coolest rock club, the Empty Bottle.  Broadcast live on ACM Executive Director Seth Boustead’s radio show Relevant Tones, the Thirsty Ear Festival features exciting performances by four of Chicago’s most dynamic ensembles including Chicago Q Ensemble, MAVerick Ensemble, James Falzone and of course Palomar.

Relevant Tones, airing on WFMT, is the first show featuring contemporary music on a classical formatted radio station in the country and this may very well be the first live broadcast for a classical station from a rock club.  Join us and the other performers as we make classical music history!
