Chicago’s ACM School of Music is part of our larger non-profit organization that promotes music by living composers and, as such, we are especially interested in teaching creativity alongside traditional note reading.
We incorporate music theory into the lessons so that our students, kids and adults alike, have a solid understanding of the building blocks of music. Understanding chords and key relationships is an important part of knowing how music works.
Our teachers are highly trained, and have years of experience in communicating musical concepts to all ages and learning types. By incorporating the music of living composers into our curriculum and encouraging musical creativity, we keep the lessons fresh, interesting and relevant to diverse groups of students.
Half hour private lessons are $36 and we’re on a monthly enrollment so it’s $144 per 4-week month. You can start any time, we pro-rate if it’s in the middle of a month. Call us today!
