Seth Boustead

Founder/Executive Director

Seth is a composer, radio host, arts manager, writer, concert producer, in-demand speaker who is revolutionizing how and where classical music is performed and how it is perceived by the general public. He received his Master of Music Composition degree from the Chicago College for the Performing Arts in 2002 and has gone on to forge a unique and highly personal musical identity through a prolific outpouring of works in every conceivable genre. Seth’s music is performed internationally and has been on radio and television in Chicago, San Francisco, New York and Paris. His orchestra piece This Point Forward was a finalist for the American Prize in 2012.

Christopher Ramaekers


Christopher is currently Director of Orchestras at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, Principal Conductor of the Ravenswood Community Orchestra, and Associate Conductor of the Chicago Composers Orchestra. He has been Music Director of the Orchestra of St. Vincent’s and the Hyde Park Youth Symphony, and the summer of 2017 marked his eighth summer as Director of Orchestras at Camp Encore/Coda in Sweden, Maine.

Christy Bennett


Christy has been teaching voice and piano lessons for over a decade. She has been performing in Chicago and throughout the US since 2005. She holds a BA in vocal Performance from DePaul University where she also worked in the DePaul Community Music office. As a teacher, Christy combines rote-learning with creativity using music games and composition to inspire and motivate students. In addition to teaching for ACM School of Music, she is also the Director of Personnel and Outreach where she hopes to make music and creativity a flourishing part of the communities ACM touches.

Trevor Watkin


Trevor is our Director of Operations and teaches students in the areas of flute, piano, music theory, composition, and voice. He studied flute and composition at Point Loma Nazarene University and at the University of Colorado at Boulder, where he also taught undergraduate Aural Skills and Music Theory. Trevor is composer-in-residence with The Right Brain Project, and received a Jeff Award for his musical score to Dream Theatre Company’s world premiere of The Black Duckling.

Andrew Tham


Andrew is a creator, performer, and advocate of experimental music and theatre in Chicago. He is a frequent collaborator with the Neo-Futurists and is a co-founder of Parlour Tapes+, a cassette tape label dedicated to contemporary classical music. Andrew received a Bachelor of Arts degree in music and English from Cornell College in Iowa.
