Spring Spectacular 2008

gm2008_kt_alysonOver the years the Green Mill has featured a lot of different styles of music. From Jazz to Rock to contemporary Classical and avant-garde, the Green Mill has long been a champion of new sounds and a breeding ground for experimentation and cross-fertilization among musicians.

Accessible Contemporary Music presents an intimate afternoon concert of stylistically diverse composers from three continents to be held in this storied space.

Highlights include Canadian composer Jan Järvlepp’s haunting paean, Sunset, scored for French horn and vibraphone and Japanese composer Jo Kondo’s meditative Aquarelle for piano and percussion.

And there will be booze of course.
