Description

All lessons in our Ravenswood location are now being given online at least until January 2021. In Avondale and Rogers Park we have limited in-person availability

Try your first piano lesson on us!  In person or virtually.

ACM is the perfect place for adults to start piano lessons or brush up on old skills. We offer piano lessons in a variety of musical styles including classical, jazz, and popular.

Our piano teachers are knowledgeable, experienced, and patient, and will help you take your musicianship to the next level. Lessons are private and can be tailored to your individual needs.

Piano lessons take place in Chicago in any of our three locations: Avondale/Logan Square, Ravenswood or  Rogers Park. There is no obligation to continue after the free trial but if you do, a half hour lesson is $36 and we’re on a monthly enrollment so it’s $144 per month.

As a non-profit with the mission of integrating musical creativity into everyday life, we encourage our students to create their own music in addition to learning the fundamentals.

"My daughter had her first virtual 30 minute piano lesson last week and it worked out remarkably smoothly!  Christy was able to effectively see and hear what my daughter was playing and provide instruction as though they were in the same room together."  Jennifer Fong

"In this bizarre reality, we're all adjusting to, it's comforting to hear Christy's voice once a week reminding my son to slow down and count the measures correctly. My son 's online piano lessons have been a bright spot in the week.

The quality of the lesson is exactly the same as in studio. Although I know he misses the hands-on and in-person approach, he's still learning and growing with each lesson. My family is grateful that this is an option.

In the past, we've taken the summer off from lessons because we travel but now that the online lesson has been conquered, when we're on the other side of the quarantine, it's nice to know that virtual lessons will be an option for the summer as well."
