Timothy A. Corpus is a vibrant composer who calls Chicago home. He began his formal musical training at age 12, but he’s been developing a love and appreciation for music all his life.

Tim loves writing and playing music, but he also enjoys sharing his passion with aspiring musicians and composers. Not only a composer, but also a teacher, he enjoys instructing students of all age levels. Starting out at the high school level Tim taught drumline and them moved onto master classes in percussion.

He is currently teaching at the college level as well as a drumline instructor. Not only is Timothy an accomplished instructor, but also an accomplished composer. His works have been performed on three different continents and have also at the Connecticut Historical Society and by the Fulcrum Point New Music Project.

He continues his work as composer, instructor, and production manager for the Chinese Fine Arts Society in Chicago.
