ACM’s resident ensemble Palomar took to the stage for the second concert of our residency at the gorgeous Atrium space in Architectural Artifacts for Acoustic Resonances, a concert featuring music by composers inspired by the use of electronics. We also performed Density 21.5 by Edgard Varese, the “Father of Electronic Music.”
This concert also featured the World Premiere of Liminal Bends by Ben Vida, our Composer Alive collaborator for 2012. Liminal Bends is a heady mix of pure electronic sine tones with the harmonic series of acoustic instruments. It makes for a mesmerizing listening experience!
