Our 2012-2013 concert season was the first year that we performed our concerts at Architectural Artifacts, a 70,000 square ft. warehouse chock full of amazing artifacts from around the world. It was a stunning background for a concert series.
Concerts this season included the culmination of our Composer Alive collaboration with sound artist Ben Vida, the Chicago premiere of Wolfgang Rihm‘s violin concerto Light Games featuring our own Jeff Yang on violin and the premiere of 1001 Afternoons in Chicago, our collaboration with Strawdog Theater that has become one of most successful projects ever.
And of course we continued our Open House Chicago and Sound of Silent Film programs with new venues, new films and new audiences.
