In 2010 our annual Composer Alive collaboration will be with Japanese composer Tomohisa Hashimoto. Tomohisa will compose a new piece for Flute, Clarinet, French horn and Piano in three installments.

We will record each installment as he sends them to us and post them to our website. He will use this innovative approach to experiment and try new things, to push the boundaries of his compositional approach.

On October 17 we will give the World Premiere of the new piece and also perform the music of other living Japanese composers.
