Paul HamiltonA native of Savannah, Georgia, Paul Hamilton received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Piano Performance from Shorter College, Rome, Georgia, 1987 and 1993 under the instruction of William Knight. Post-graduate study included Vladimir Shakin at the St. Petersburg Conservatory, St. Petersburg, Russia, 1993. He has accompanied for the Metropolitan Opera Auditions, Atlanta, Leontyne Price Opera Competition, New York, and the American Traditions Competition in Savannah. He has extensive experience in composition for the theatre. His works include "Sadako and a Thousand Cranes" with GMT Productions in Rome, Georgia, which has toured nationally. As an arranger and composer he has worked with the Fireside Theatre in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin, and has also worked with many of the area theatres in Chicago - including Drury Lane Oakbrook and the Goodman Theatre. His opera experience includes "The Tragedy of Carmen" with the American Opera Group with conductor Francesco Milioto.
