Integrating Musical Creativity into Everyday Life

screen-shot-2016-09-21-at-4-47-00-pmACM celebrates the 100th anniversary of the publication of Carl Sandburg‘s magnificent collection Chicago Poems.  We’re working with mezzo-soprano Julia Bentley to commission five composers to create musical settings of several of the poems which have then been fused into a comprehensive work.

The finished work will be performed in its entirety at the Chicago Cultural Center in the beautiful Preston Bradley Hall and it will also be previewed on a special radio broadcast on 98.7 WFMT from PianoForte Chicago.
