Rebecca Davidsmeier received her Master of Music degree in Piano Performance at the Chicago College of Performing Arts where she studied with Ludmilla Lazar. She earned her Bachelor of Music, while concurrently earning a Bachelor of Science, at Illinois Wesleyan University. There she received honors including the Amateur Music Teacher's Scholarship Award, the Helmut Fuchs Scholarship Award and Honor Recital, studying piano under Susan Brandon and chamber music under Stefan Kartman.

She has performed extensively, including performances in the Ameropa International Chamber Music Festival in Prague, and has participated in the Mid America Chamber Music Institute where she studied under Jeannie Yu. She currently maintains a regular performance schedule, operates a piano studio in Kankakee, IL and teaches High School Chemistry
