Music Appreciation Class

Would you like to learn more about the world of Classical music?

ACM's Music Appreciation class provides you with the background neccessary to understand and appreciate Classical music. We will learn about, listen to and discuss the music of several composers in a variety of genres and the program will include attendance at a live concert to hear music studied in class.

Over the course of the program many different periods of music, types of music and musical concepts will be covered. Student participation is encouraged, as we all have something to contribute on the emotional response to the music.

Monday evenings from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM with Sheldon Marcus. This is an eight-week class and the cost is $150 per person
